Dog Beach

Vancouver's about as dog-friendly as it comes, but they're still pretty strict in regards to letting dogs on beaches, with exception to specifically designated "dog beaches". A week ago Friday I joined some friends on the local dog beach at Vanier Park (next to Kits Beach) before heading over to the Folk Fest. Here's my favourite scene from that afternoon. No clue who dude is.

Pan-seared halibut... with a citrus salsa, risotto cake, spinach, and oyster fritter...



Seafood salad (with local salmon, clams, mussels, and pan-seared scallops)...
