I know what you...Definitely not the only ones. ;) <br /><br />I know what you mean about Canadian patriotism + hockey supposedly going hand in hand. <br /><br />But what actually irks me more is the fervent patriotism associated with Tim Horton's. It's almost embarrassing how many Canadians glorify Tim Horton's - a mediocre coffee + donut shop if there ever was one - to be the epitome of Canadianness. I am the only one of two people within my c...Omg... I am the only one of two people within my circle of friends that doesn't care for the Canucks, or hockey in general for that matter. To be honest, sometimes the fans anger me as they seem so "patriotic" about nothing. It certainly feels like a situation where it's either I'm a fan and a Canadian or I'm not a fan and not truly a Canadian. For some, it is that black and white.
